I ordered the Rocket Wings and Bonnie got a Garden Salad with a scoop of tuna.
They charged us $2.39 for a coke. They were not special Rocket-Cokes served in orbital cups so I don't understand the price. However, Bonnie's coke left a cool shape in the ice because she finished it so fast.
Speaking of drinks, a drunk guy rammed into Bonnie around noon. Good thing she has amazing balance; otherwise she would've been knocked over. Cheers.
Moving along, we walked down to Battery Park, keeping along Broadway.

since it finally feels like spring, the birds are feeling promiscuous.

they are too preoccupied to notice the cool anchor on the rock. they're missing out on so much.
Bonnie says that her eyes don't smile.

sunny days are great for pictures. even though they can cast some pretty harsh shadows, I think bonnie manages to pull it off gracefully.
me on the other hand....
a lot less pro at posing for the camera.

that is because we lent ours to a homeless man for the time being so that he can collect spare change.
don't worry, he promised to return them within the hour.
there is a dramatic re-enactment taking place behind bonnie.

sad story: a bird pooped on bonnie's coat. bonnie says she is angry that the bird's mommy never potty-trained it
Walking back to Union Square and arriving at Red Mango:
I haven't been there since....the summer actually.
i got mango and chocolate for toppings
bonnie: coconut, granola, and (something else)
Shoemania: Bonnie's cat threw up in her shoe so she needed a new pair.
it appears that animals in general enjoy leaving bonnie gifts.
the salesman at shoemania were all very helpful. that's because they were eager to get rid of inventory.
too bad bonnie couldn't find the right pair.
also, bonnie really needs to get an eye exam soon.
